Watts uses the aggregate data to perform statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behavior of our registered users and visitors, to measure user demographics and interests regarding specific areas of Watts' websites and to analyze how and where best to use our resources. Without such data, we would not know what the most popular areas of Watts are, and we would not be able to change and update the content and services appropriately.
Watts may, from time to time, when we have your permission, use your personally identifiable information to contact you about changes or enhancements to Products and Services on Watts' websites. Users can opt out of receiving future marketing communications by unsubscribing by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.
Watts may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide information on individual users to the appropriate governmental authorities. In matters involving a danger to personal or public safety, Watts may voluntarily provide information to appropriate governmental authorities.
It is the policy of Watts not to rent, sell, share, trade or otherwise divulge its customer list to any outside firm other than our authorized sales representatives, without permission from you. If you believe you are being contacted by any firm outside of Watts, other than our authorized sales representatives, using information you have provided to us, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.
- What types of security procedures are in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of your information?
Watts' web server is located in a physically and electronically secured data center monitored by security guards. In addition, Watts performs regular 3rd party vulnerability testing on all its websites to ensure customer information is secure and protected. Any personally identifiable information you provide to Watts when submitting an online form for inquiries or registering for Products and Services at any of Watts' websites is maintained and accessible only by Watts' employees and authorized sales representatives who we believe reasonable need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs, unless specifically stated otherwise.
Watts' Online Stores encrypt all personal data you submit (including your credit card number, billing, and shipping information) and passed through "secure transaction servers." Watts accomplishes this through technology provided by Verisign. Verisign is a member of the TRUSTe program - an independent, non-profit privacy initiative dedicated to building users' trust and confidence in the Internet.
